From the start the process of integrating my business with the mindbody software was taken care of for me with the jump start package. This process was seemless and so important for me as I was under alot of time pressure and I wanted software that I wouldn't have to spend hours setting it up myself. From that time I have found the software very intuitive to use. If I have struggled or had any questions the customer support via the helpline has been outstanding. Rated 2 out of 5 by Lots of scheduling issues; hopefully you have a dedicated admin person; not ideal for a co-op style massage practice MindBody makes me wish I'd never given up the old weekly hand-written calendar we used to use. Life was so much simpler back then! Five of us at the office (no admin person) with varying regular work days and many irregularly scheduled days times off, with many last minute changes, all sharing 2 rooms. -- Getting your instructor schedule to jive with your Google calendar is a NIGHTMARE; each time there is an "update" to the online schedule, the updates don't always get sent to the app version of the calendar. So if you subscribe from your Google calendar to the link MindBody allows for your instructor schedule, if MindBody updates things, then you need a new link to subscribe. But then you'll have two calendars (the old wrong one and the new current one) embedded into your Google calendar...so make sure you delete the link to the old wrong one first! Oh, and as an instructor, you can't do it. Only the owner of the account can do this. So it's a HUGE pain in the butt. You have to bother the owner all the time. (Forget it!) -- Looking at one instructor's schedule (e.g., your own) isn't allowed continuously throughout the calendar if there is a break in that instructor's schedule (it always switches back to the instructor with the first alphabetical last name). -- You can't pick "available resources" using the app, even though they are completely available. So you have to get to a computer and do it online, where (surprise, surprise) they are available. -- Want to put in for a day off? Or a range of dates? It's a pain. Then if your schedule changes and you're suddenly available again, it's a bigger pain. If you out in for a range of dates off, then suddenly become available for a few days within that range, and you try to "add availability" for those days, forget it. You've got to delete everything and start all over. Very sloppy... -- It might work well for yoga studios and other places where clients sign up for offered classes, but it's not ideal for a co-op style massage practice. September 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Mindbody is a disappointment Currently on line scheduling is not syncing properly for customers. It is ugly at best. We consistently have to tell our customers we will find a software to use that takes in consideration the customer. Mindbody is not that company. August 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by The product is flexible but it doesn't fit with all businesses Mindbody is easy to use and it's very friendly system with clients which i think it's really good. But from Physiotherapists business (or any other medical clinics ) can't be a tricky to use sine it dosen't have provider number options on the system. it's very important for the clinic to print out the provider number into invoice but it didn't provide the different layout for different businesses.
