Rated 4 out of 5 by MBO is powerful software - with some additional features to the mobile apps this would be a perfect 5 I'm really happy with MBO software. It's efficient and effective. There was a learning curve when I first started to use it, but once you know what you're doing, it's incredibly powerful. And for a small studio, it basically replaces your accounting software, which is amazing. Few Suggestions for the App and the Wesbite. As for the app, I'd love the following options: 1. Cancel classes 2. Substitute instructors 3. Rather than "Reserve Reserve" for reservations made by a third party, I'd love to see who the reservation was made on behalf of. Otherwise, you can't sign people in from the app and you actually have to log on to the full site to see who it is. 3. Rather than show me Recent Sales made only from the business side, I'd love if the "Recent Sales" included recent sales from the consumer end too. 4. When I access the full MBO website from my phone, please stop popping up an option that tells me there is an app. I'm on the website because the app doesn't offer the functionality that I need, so it's annoying to have to bypass that screen every time. Suggestions for the site: 1. Modifying schedules is a little bit confusing. The "Permanent - All", "Temporary," "Permanent - From Date Forward" stuff makes sense in theory, but in practice it becomes cumbersome. Like the minute you make a "From Date Forward" change all of a sudden it severs the class from the previous iterations and then won't let you select certain options. Once you get to know this, it's not so bad, but it's incredibly counterintuitive at times. One feature I would definitely like here is the ability to make temporary schedule changes in the same manner as I make instructor substitutions. Sometimes, I need to move class by 10-15 minutes and I'd prefer not to have to go through the process of a making a "Date Forward" change and then changing the next week back. 2. Reservations for certain classes may require additional explanation when booking. I'd love the option to have a pop up when someone is booking a specific class. For example, I have a class that is 45 min spin/30 min optional yoga. The optional yoga requires a separate signup, and since not everyone reads the class description, I'd love the ability to have a popup when someone books the class letting them know that they need to sign up for yoga separately if they'd like to participate.
