Get Skillz Basketball in Plymouth, Michigan, offers high-intensity, skill-building programs for youth athletes. Each session is intentionally designed to shape future leaders—combining technical training, mental discipline, and game IQ to develop complete players.  

As demand for their classes increased, the Get Skillz team realized they needed a better way to engage prospects, follow up quickly, and turn interest into paying clients. Like many fitness businesses, their growth depended on converting traffic from Facebook, Instagram, and their website. But their former marketing tools weren't built for fast follow-up or seamless tracking.

Today, Get Skillz Basketball uses Attentive's full-screen signup units, automated welcome journeys, and seasonal campaigns to reach prospects the moment they express interest. Their strongest lead driver is a free 30-minute consultation designed to match athletes with the right program. 

Attentive's templates also elevate their brand presence with an updated, polished look. 

Early results set the stage for growth

Get Skillz implemented Attentive in September 2025, and even within the first few months, the results were hard to ignore: 

  • $2,790 in revenue from Attentive-driven leads 
  • 144 new opt-ins added to their subscriber list 
  • 38 class sign-ins driven through automated outreach 

For a fitness studio early in its use of marketing automations, these results point to a strong foundation and meaningful potential as their funnel continues to mature. 

Building on the momentum

Get Skillz Basketball plans to expand their Attentive strategy by launching sign-up unit campaigns on Instagram, building out seasonal journeys, and incorporating more visual storytelling into their outreach.
