What's New: September 1, 2020 Booker Software Updates
Another month, another round of software updates! As we close out one of the stranger summers, we’re delivering new functionality that will help your salon or spa into the next season and beyond. The Booker team is working to make the low-touch journey better and better for your clients and your staff.
Here are the new updates.
Appointment Confirmation emails are clearer than ever
The subject line of the Appointment Confirmation email template used to read “Appointment Confirmation: <client name>.” While it was accurate, it didn’t necessarily let clients know they needed to do anything.
Now the subject line is “Confirm your appointment <client name>.” This is particularly handy as you can include a link to any forms clients need to fill out at the top of these emails. Sometimes even a seemingly small adjustment means you and your staff save a lot of time and energy following up.
Customize virtual check-in
Now you can select from different SMS messages to best direct clients. Want them to wait outside? There’s a preset message for that. Want them to wait in the car? We’ve got you covered. You can even ask clients to come right on in.
Now, when they’re ready, your staff can notify clients to come in right from the schedule with an automated SMS message. It’s another great reason to consider the Accelerate or Ultimate tiers.
Let’s get down to business app
Ever open that business app and think, “Wish I could just take a peek at that client form?” Well, now you can. Now, when you glance at the calendar in the app, you can immediately see which clients need to complete Client Forms. Admins can resend forms and view completed forms all within the business app.
Digital travel sheet
We know how important it is to maximize each ticket—and that means selling add-ons, enhancements, and retail. You want your staff to offer recommendations tailored to each client, suggesting options that are sure to delight them. Now, in the business app, you can see a digital travel sheet for each client, detailing their previous purchases. Your team can follow up, asking how a particular product worked out and if they need more. Higher tickets, here we come!
With a card and tip preferences on file, staff can now check out clients in just one click. The receipt is automatically emailed to clients, and they can be on their way faster than ever.
