TRIBES: Building Community and Growth with Mindbody

Located in the heart of London, TRIBES is a Gym, Clinic & Studio dedicated to building a community around strength, fitness, and wellness. Their offerings span personal training, small group training, yoga, Pilates, fitness classes, and a rehabilitation clinic—all designed to support clients on their journey to continuous growth, improved health, and a better quality of life. 

Founded in March 2024 by Neil Sanyal, CEO & Co-Founder, and Joshua Caira, Head Coach & Co-Founder, the business was born out of a shared passion. After previously training together, Sanyal and Caira decided to take the leap and create a space of their own. Supporting the vision behind the scenes is Executive Assistant Neama Tawfik, whom we spoke with to learn more about TRIBES' journey and relationship with Mindbody.

Over the past year and a half, Tawfik and the TRIBES team have experienced the full impact of the Mindbody platform. Coaches especially value the app's flexibility, which allows them to manage bookings directly from their phones without needing to go through admin or leadership. "We love the booking feature because it makes things so much easier. All the coaches can easily input bookings into the system. This also makes it easier for clients and the admin side of things," Tawfik shared. Automated reminders for clients running low on packs have also been a game changer, eliminating the need for payment follow-ups, keeping the process seamless. 

For Tawfik, one of the biggest benefits is the convenience of having everything in a single, centralized system. Mindbody keeps track of it all—client bookings, payments, and communication—so nothing falls through the cracks. If a client misses a payment, she can quickly pull up the details and resolve the issue without the usual administrative headaches. 

Clients have noticed the difference, too. With automatic booking confirmations, convenient reminders, and the ability to purchase products directly through the branded TRIBES app, their client experience is seamless from start to finish.
