5 Favorite Moments of BOLD 2018
January 25, 2024
We can’t believe this year’s BOLD conference is already over! It was an action-packed three days. While it’s hard to choose just five of our favorite moments from BOLD, here’s a list with our picks.
1. Billie Jean King
Billie Jean King taught us the importance of continuing to be bold, even after the conference! We caught tennis balls she lobbed into the crowd and left in awe of her quote: “You can be inspired every day if you just pay attention.” She certainly inspired us that day!
2. Panels and Speakers
With so many incredible speakers, presentations and panels during the three days of BOLD, we could have easily filled this whole list with our favorite moments from these sessions. We heard from women in leadership, the founder of Drybar Alli Webb, and a panel featuring some of the most prominent enterprises in the wellness industry among others. The State of the Industry: Mindbody Data Insights session even let us in on the latest wellness trends. Don’t worry if you missed the presentation, we have a full recap here. You can also check out the webinar series from BOLD, BOLDER, Better, Faster, Stronger on demand here.
3. Making Connections
From the Mindbody One Mixer to the BOLD Bash and the Visionary Award winner champagne toast to coffee breaks between sessions, there was nothing like connecting with other business owners, instructors, and consultants in the fitness, wellness, and beauty industries. It was great to have a reminder that we’re all in this together!
4. Working on Our Fitness
We took wellness classes from world-class instructors. We warmed up with Sadie Nardini’s Core Sun Salutations, trained with UFC Champion Tyron Woodley, and we even learned how to “swerk”—sweat, work, twerk—with Rachel Vickhouse and Chelsea Mozel of MVP Dance Fit.
5. Touring the Expo Hall
Between engaging sessions, keynotes and lunches overlooking the bay, we loved exploring the Expo Hall and meeting Mindbody’s partners. We delighted in getting to talk one-on-one with the experts and seeing demos of products in person. One booth even offered free professional headshots on the spot.
