5 Emails You Need to Be Sending to Clients at Your Spa

Email marketing is one of the most effective forms of marketing for any business, whether you’re large, small, or just starting out. Customers who receive email marketing spend up to 83% more and that’s a number you just can’t ignore. While it may seem daunting to sit down and construct a bunch of emails, remember, a little work can go a long way. Below are five different types of emails you absolutely need to be sending to your clients, whether they are new to your spa or are your faithful regulars. Keeping your clients engaged with your business is essential to the growth of your business, especially when it comes to your bottom line.

Let’s explore the five emails you should be sending out:

1. The Welcome Email

After the first time a client books at your spa, make sure you’re starting the relationship off right. Send your new client a “Welcome to Our Spa!” email. This will give your spa the opportunity to describe exactly what it offers, both in services and products, and is a great way to show your clients how much you’re interested in their well-being.

2. The Promotional Email

When you’re setting up promotions and sales at your spa, you want to spread the word to as many people, as possible. Using your email list is a great place to start. Sending out promotional emails help to attract new and old clients, especially those that love a good deal…and let’s be real, EVERYONE loves a good deal!

3. The Newsletter Email

Think you’ve got some great updates to send out to your clients? How about sharing what’s going on at your business with all of your clients. It helps keep them engaged and also gives you the opportunity to remind them that maybe they should be giving your spa another visit. Massages, anyone?

4. The “Thank You" Email

This one’s a no-brainer, but just in case you haven’t implemented the “Thank You” email, make sure you start. Every time a client completes an appointment, shoot out a “Thank you for visiting!” email and show them your appreciation for their continued business. You should also consider adding a “Book Again Now!” button at the end of the email – it certainly can’t hurt!

5. The “Book Again!" Email

This one might be the most important email to send out. For all the clients you may have lost (or haven’t seen in a really long time), take the time to communicate with them and remind them that they haven’t visited in a while and should book again with you. In this email, you can add specials or discounts to really entice them to come back to your spa. Be sure to include an easy way to book directly from the email (don’t forget about that Book Now button).
