Your Year in Review: 3 Metrics You Should Be Tracking

Your Year in Review: 3 Metrics You Should Be Tracking

By Mindbody Creative Team

Last updated: January 6, 2026

You accomplished a lot last year, and your numbers tell the story. To help you understand what those metrics mean (and which ones are worth following this year), we pulled together three of our favorite things you can do inside Analytics 2.0.

Whether you're curious about intro offers, memberships, client loyalty, classes, or appointments, these quick workflows show you exactly where to look and how to use your insights to grow this year.

1. See how many intro offers you sold

Intro offers are one of the strongest ways to bring in new clients. With Analytics 2.0, you can quickly see how many you sold last year. Use that insight to plan promotions, test pricing, or send targeted follow-ups.

Here's how to find them:

1. Open the Sales Dashboard and use the Quick Dates menu to set the range to Last Year

2. Under Additional Finance Filters, toggle Intro Offers to True

3. Switch Metric Type to Number of Tickets

Why this matters:

Intro offers show you how many new people tried your business last year. This helps you understand what's bringing customers in the door and whether your promotions are working.

2. See which memberships brought in new clients

Members are the heartbeat of a strong studio. The Memberships Dashboard helps you see which options were most popular with new clients last year.

Here's how:

1. Use Quick Dates and choose Last Year

2. Scroll to the New Members Percent Breakdown to show how many new members you gained and which membership types contributed most

Why this matters:

Seeing which memberships new clients chose helps you understand what people value most. It's a simple way to see what's resonating, and where you may want to adjust or promote certain options.

2. Scroll down to the Visit Breakdown and select Type Name to see which visits were the most popular

Pro tip: Use your top visit types to guide scheduling and promotions. If a class or service consistently drives repeat visits, consider adding more availability or creating offers around it.

Your data tells a story. Analytics 2.0 helps you understand it.

These workflows are just the beginning. Analytics 2.0 gives you a clear, visual way to understand your business, stay on top of key metrics, and spot opportunities throughout the year.

*Sales are calculated on an accrual basis, new clients reflect first-time visitors, and your busiest month is based on total visits.
