The studio at Cyc:d

When Faye Walton visited Miami in November 2016, she didn’t expect to leave America with a business idea. The former commercial litigation partner in the City of London was on holiday, after all.

But while there, she was inspired by the high-end cycling studios in the Miami fitness scene, especially their club-like vibe and general attitude towards fitness. 

After returning home to Surrey after the trip, she realized that there was nothing like the neon studios she had seen in Miami in leafy Surrey – and the mother of four realized she had a business opportunity ahead of her. 

Cyc:d, the result of that opportunity, is a boutique fitness studio offering a unique combination of group workouts including barre, yoga, and cycling. Students at Cyc:d can expect to be immersed into a positive, yet challenging atmosphere during class. This atmosphere largely draws from the music played during class. 

The studio has in-house DJs to make sure that the music is positive and uplifting. After all, music creates energy; energy drives performance; and performance produces results.

Now two years into owning the studio, Faye knows that she needs to stay on top of fitness trends to retain customers and staff. That’s why she turned to FitMetrix to help engage her customers before, during, and after class.
