    Director of Business Education

    Roxanne (Roxy) has a passion for both wellness and technology and feels blessed to have over ten years experience helping people become healthier, happier versions of themselves - directly and indirectly. It is her current mission to help wellness businesses become more viable and successful through education and sharing what really works, through the various MINDBODY University (MBU) Offerings. She is a regular speaker at MINDBODY Conferences, Tradeshows and with MBU as well as Co-Owner of Smiling Dog Yoga in San Luis Obispo, CA. Roxy has a degree in mathematics and has experience in customer service, management, database programming, and lecturing at the university level. Roxy is a yoga instructor and loves having timely classes. Roxy loves teaching, problem solving, working hard, playing harder, and karaoke. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan and loves using her hand as a map whenever she gets the chance. In her tenure with MINDBODY, she’s consulted with thousands of wellness businesses.

    Business Education Content Manager

    Katie is a North Carolina native who fell in love with the California coastline and decided to make Morro Bay her home five years ago. She has been involved in the world of holistic health as both a yoga instructor and massage therapist for many years and found her way to MINDBODY in 2012, coming on board with the sales team. She has advised hundreds of business owners, in all stages of their business growth, in finding personalized solutions to achieve their business goals. When Katie is not working, she has a passion for studying holistic nutrition, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her son, Liam.

  • Patrick McClintock

    Manager, Customer Account Management

    Patrick McClintock is a graduate of California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo with a degree in Communication Studies. Patrick has more than 8 years of experience in customer service. He joined MINDBODY in July 2012, working as part of the Jump Start Program and assisted in the creation of over 120 unique client sites, all while training clients in the operation of their MINDBODY sites. Since his move to Premium Account Coordinator in March 2013, Patrick has dedicated his time and attention to helping his clients get the most out of their MINDBODY sites by providing attentive, dedicated support.

    Charles D. Graff is a MINDBODY Certified Business Consultant dedicated to exceeding the expectations of clients by providing clear value and real results. With a decade working in the health and wellness industry, Charles has created, grown and sold many studios, and currently owns multiple studios in Chicago, Illinois, where he continues to expand his business model. Charles’ business services provide a proven method for clients to evaluate, implement and succeed, with a focus on short-term KPIs to achieve long-term goals.     Cindi Booth, a MINDBODY Certified Consultant, has been the Director of Development for All That Matters Yoga + Holistic Health Centers since 2009. Under her guidance, the business acquired two new studios, implemented a thriving membership program and built a talented management team. Cindi was also a successful CPA with her own firm and 20 years helping small business owners. She completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2013, and integrates yoga principles with her business background to best serve her clients. Her experience with MINDBODY software, best business practices and growth management make working with Cindi an empowering process.

    As a MINDBODY Certified Consultant, Josh Biro has experienced firsthand the business management challenges that wellness studios face, and has developed solutions that can help you overcome them. Since selling his successful yoga studio, Josh now travels full time as part of the Nomad Yoga Family, teaching, consulting online and coaching onsite at studios all over the world. He’ll look at your numbers and work with you to develop daily operation systems and staff management techniques to ensure your business operates holistically. Josh also teaches forward-thinking sales and marketing practices to help you attract and retain clients.     Through 35 years of work in the fitness industry, MINDBODY Consultant Katie Santos has gained valuable insights into business management and developed a special love for coaching clients. During her career, she’s obtained numerous Pilates, yoga, cycling and personal training instruction certifications, and brings a wealth of experience to her role as a fitness business consultant. As an Evernote Certified Consultant, Katie specializes in business planning, forecasting, sales, digital marketing, HR and organization. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise and playing an important role in driving your business success.

    MINDBODY Certified Consultant

    MINDBODY Certified Consultant KK Hart owns and operates four fitness studios and a luxury beauty bar, and is the CEO of a boutique marketing agency specializing in the health and fitness industry. With extensive experience as an international fitness and business expert, KK regularly features on Fox and The Huffington Post, among other media outlets. She has a Master's degree in Health and Business and over a decade of experience helping fitness, wellness and beauty businesses grow.     Laura Munkholm is a MINDBODY Certified Business Consultant with five years working in the wellness/fitness world and more than seven years of success in corporate sales and recruiting. After teaching yoga on the side for years, she left the corporate world to run a large yoga studio, where she managed a team of 35 and substantially grew membership and profitability during her tenure. Integrating her knowledge base with the MINDBODY Consultant Certification Course gave Laura the tools to help studios become and stay profitable. She offers solutions to optimize MINDBODY software, staff management, pricing, sales, and operations.

  • Marshall Evans

    MINDBODY Certified Consultant

    Marshall Evans is a 15-year veteran of the information technology world who became a licensed cosmetologist in 2010 and quickly converted his first employer to MINDBODY. After Marshall met his husband Marc Guilarte, an accomplished Ashtanga practitioner, the couple opened Cat Tilt studio and Parvati's Mirror in 2014. Marshall also runs Zen Media Social, a boutique advertising firm focused on the wellness and personal services industries. A MINDBODY Certified Business Consultant, Marshall’s passion is to solve problems—hair or business. He specializes in lead generation, Facebook, AdWords and digital media strategies.

    Mitch McGinley is a MINDBODY Certified Business Consultant and yoga studio owner with a background in operations and finance. After 15 years in hospitality, Mitch became the GM of a boutique hotel and elevated it to become the highest-rated hotel in San Diego on one of the world’s largest booking sites. He eventually left the hotel industry to pursue his dream of owning a yoga studio with his wife Karson. Together they have owned and operated Happy-U Yoga Center for almost 5 years. Mitch has a Master’s Degree in Business, and is passionate about people. His goal is to always provide outstanding customer service, while increasing revenue and decreasing stress.

    MINDBODY Certified Business Consultant Pinna Gallant specializes in reporting, forecasting and sales. After 20 years leading the creation of multiple software applications, she stepped away from corporate life and moved toColorado, where she opened Peak Yoga in a mountain town near Breckenridge. Peak Yoga became profitable within months and was listed as one of the top 10 yoga studios in the state in less than three years.Pinna attributes this success to her experience launching products, analyzing data, researching markets, predicting consumer behavior and managing teams. Pinna has been a certified vinyasa yoga instructor since 2010.

  • Trish Freeman

    MINDBODY Certified Consultant

    Located in Sydney, Australia, Trish Freeman has been in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years, owning and operating health clubs since 1989. Combined with her history as a MINDBODY sales consultant and business partner, this extensive industry knowledge eventually transformed into an independent consultancy. In her current role as a MINDBODY Certified Consultant, Trish helps health clubs grow, specializing in data management, software training, KPI analysis and monthly reporting. She’s worked with big health clubs, allied health businesses, class-based studios and over 70 F45 training franchisees. Her team consists of consultants who specialize in marketing and social media, corporate interactions and membership retention.

We will also discuss the different options for connecting your website to MINDBODY, and the importance of testing everything in Consumer Mode. We'll cover basic product management as well as advanced topics, including inventory management, related reporting, online store orders, purchase order management, and using and selling gift certificates.

    This session will explore the vast depth of features within the Client Profile screens that you can use to manage your client’s information. We will cover all of the Client Profile screens and you will learn about Client Relationships, Client Alerts, Contact Logs, as well as an introduction into Client Types and Client Indexes.

  • AutoPays, Contracts, and Memberships

    Learn how easy it is to increase revenue and client retention through our automatic billing features, AutoPays. Use the Contracts feature to make recurring revenue effortless. Learn how to set up memberships so that clients receive perks and special privileges for being loyal to your business. In your KPI Pricing Lab, you’ll use a worksheet that will help you price your AutoPay perfectly.

  • Staff Management: Strategy, People, Performance and Leadership

    During this session, learn valuable staff management insights to help you operate your business more effectively. We will discuss how to hire and train a great team, performance reporting and incentives for staff, and recommended software permissions to protect your business. Learn about resources available to you so you can train your staff better and maximize your use of the software.

  • Key Performance Indicators: Pricing

    Learn how to strategically price your classes to realize your true revenue potential! We’ll analyze what series are selling, how to improve pricing, and specifically how to price a membership.

  • Key Performance Indicators: Retention

    Improve your retention and grow your business! We’ll look at Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that measure retention to see if your clients are coming back, if your Groupon offers are effective, and what your intro offer to AutoPay conversion rate is. Learn how to use reports such as the No-Return Report, so you can reach out to clients who haven’t been back to your business.

  • Key Performance Indicators: Attendance and Revenue

    We’ll look at Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that show revenue, attendance, new clients, and average attendance. Learn how to track and run these reports and what they tell you about your business.

  • Creating a Viable Business

    Learn critical elements to improving your profitability and enjoying your business more. In this session you will learn how to create a budget, analyze operating expenses and determine key indices that reflect the health of your business.

    Rick founded MINDBODY in his garage in 2001, and has led the company to serve thousands of businesses improving the wellness of the world. He will open up the “chocolate factory” for a special discussion of the secret sauce for creating a successful business.
