Client achievements
For Branded Mobile App users • Available in all regions • Class-based businesses
Celebrate class milestones with in-app client achievement badges. After your studio opts in, clients will receive badges that encourage them to track their progress & attendance at your studio. Client achievements strengthen connections, boost retention, and enhance engagement.
Location-based client check-in
For Branded Mobile App users • Available in all regions • Class-based businesses
Clients who opt in to location permissions will be prompted to check in to class from your app. Once they’re close enough to the studio, they can confirm their attendance—no front desk assistance needed. This helps with class attendance, reducing no-shows, and optimizes scheduling.

Accept WisePOS payments
For all WisePOS users • Available in all regions* • Appointment-based businesses
Schedule services and check out clients, all in one place. WisePOS devices can now accept contactless payments, chip cards, and mobile wallets (such as Apple Pay) from the appointments screen. This new capability creates a smoother experience so clients can quickly secure your services. Try it by selecting the card reader option when checking out your next appointment.

Book recurring appointments on the Business app
For Business app users • Available in all regions • Appointment-based businesses
Manage bookings without a computer—you can schedule recurring appointments from your phone on the Mindbody Business app. Learn more about how to do this via the Mindbody Business app by visiting our support page.
Streamline creating appointment types & add-ons

Quickly add multiple appointment types or service add-ons in a row with the “Save and Add Another” button. This simplifies the appointment creation process, saving you time and reducing unnecessary clicks.
Mindbody app: Charge for cancellations or no-shows
For all Mindbody users • Available in the US for Android and iOS
Clients booking through "Buy Now, Pay Later" on the Mindbody app can now be required to provide credit card details to confirm services. This protects your business’s bottom line by making it easier to charge cancellation or no-show fees, so you don’t miss out on revenue.

Business responses are tailored to better address specific sentiments from client feedback. With our advanced AI model, Messenger[ai] will automatically send personalized messages based on your clients’ individual experiences. This strengthens relationships and improves client retention.
Mindbody SMS & voice service: Stay compliant with UK regulations
For Mindbody SMS & voice services users in the UK
To comply with the Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and avoid interruptions, a new “Messaging Compliance” page has been added to the settings menu. This will guide you through the registration process so you can take the next steps.
As of September 30th, 2024, all UK-based businesses on our platform need to register their phone numbers to continue sending text messages or making voice calls. Learn more about the registration guidelines on our support page.
Marketing Suite: Boost email campaign deliverability
For Accelerate, Ultimate, Ultimate+ users • Available in all regions
Our enhanced email validator tool now catches more invalid addresses before you hit send, helping you maintain an accurate contact list. With fewer incorrect emails, you’ll see higher deliverability rates and ensure your communications are more accurate in reaching the right clients.

Offer clients the option to pay on another’s behalf
For all Mindbody users • Available in all regions
Clients can now make payments for someone else—giving you the ability to offer flexible options to meet client needs. Just make sure the person paying has a “Pays for” relationship with the other client specified in the “ClientID” field. More API improvements and fixes are available on the developer portal release notes.
Note: Adoption by external partners/integrators is required.

Eight key API endpoints have been optimized to improve performance up to 99%. This means faster data retrieval and smoother operations to help your business run more efficiently. Here are more details about the enhanced performance of these endpoints:
- GET Sales: 99% boost, from 18.5 seconds to 238 milliseconds
- GET Sites: 98% boost, from 8.75 seconds to 176 milliseconds
- GET ClassSchedule: 92% boost, from 8.75 seconds to 539 milliseconds
- UpdateClient: 46% boost, from 2.96 seconds to 1.59 seconds
- GET ClientCompleteInfo: 44% boost, from 1.03 seconds to 0.578 milliseconds
- Get PurchaseContracts: 42% boost, from 12.3 seconds to 7.13 seconds
