By Wendolyn McCurry

Each year, the BOLD Conference brings people together in the wellness, fitness, and beauty industries to share tips on what makes businesses succeed—and this year’s event is gearing up to be our best one yet! Business owners and staff members alike will leave BOLD feeling inspired by emerging industry trends, best practices, and the motivation to continue changing lives for the better.

The BOLD Conference is three days of advice, insights, and inspiration to help you take your business to the next level. The schedule is jam-packed with incredible keynote presentations. Breakout sessions covering the best in business education. Awesome wellness classes to recharge your energy. And networking with your amazing industry peers.

If you can’t make it to BOLD, we’ve got you covered. This year, you can be a part of the most important event in wellness from wherever you are. Our virtual experience gives you access to keynotes, wellness classes, breakout sessions, and more.

What else can you look forward to? Let’s take a look.

Keynotes Speakers at BOLD

1. Laugh with Dan Levy

You won’t want to miss this keynote with Dan Levy, an Emmy® and Golden Globe winning writer, actor, director, and producer. He’s best known for his work on one of the most beloved shows on television, Schitt’s Creek, which he co-created with his father Eugene Levy. For its sixth and final season, the series received nine Emmy® wins, becoming the most awarded comedy series in a single year. The show also broke major records for being the first comedy or drama series to sweep all four acting categories and received the most wins for a comedy series in its final season. Levy and his father were also the first father-son pair to win Emmys in the same year and Levy tied the record for most wins by an individual in a single season with four total wins.

2. Be inspired by Jameela Jamil

Jameela Jamil is an actress, performer, and award-winning activist. Her women’s empowerment movement and social media platform has taken the internet by storm—attracting 1.3 million followers worldwide. Jameela’s work with Instagram has resulted in the company banning the promotion of toxic diet products to minors.

Her keynote session will shed light on her experiences in the industry, passion for body neutrality, and advocacy of beauty product transparency.

Check out these ways to explore sunny San Diego when you’re not at the conference.

1. Sip your morning coffee at the Seaport Village

Grab a cup of joe at Spill the Beans and soak in the picturesque views of San Diego Bay. Seaport Village is known for its unique shops so be sure to snag a few souvenirs—whether that’s hot sauce from Hot Licks or a nautical tee from Captain’s Cove.

2. Grab a bite in Little Italy

Leave San Diego—without leaving San Diego. Wander the streets of Little Italy and prepare to eat all the pizza and pasta you could ever dream of. This lively neighborhood is known for its historic charm and piazzas that encourage visitors to take a moment to relax and savor their surroundings.

3. Visit the wildlife at the San Diego Zoo

While in town, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to visit one of the largest zoos in the US. It’s spread across 100 acres of land, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding your favorite animal— and you’ll have many opportunities to get close to the wildlife. Don’t forget to hop on the Skyfari Aerial Tram and snap an epic selfie.

4. Experience the nightlife at Gaslamp Quarter

There’s always something happening at Gaslamp Quarter. Known for its electrifying nightlife, the district is filled with culture. With an array of nightclubs, rooftop bars, lounges, and pubs, it might be hard for you to choose where to sip your favorite cocktail.
