This Do Good Campaign At Your Studio Can Save Women’s Lives

Just 30 minutes of exercise three to four days a week lowers your risk of breast cancer by 30-50%. Imagine a world where everyone had access to this very fact. That’s the core mission of the Keep A Breast Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign, Fit 4 Prevention.

Each year in October, studios everywhere participate in Fit 4 Prevention by hosting donation-based workout classes to raise money for the Keep A Breast Foundation. KAB is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support. They carry out this mission with life-saving initiatives like Check Yourself, Non Toxic Revolution, the Treasured Chest Program, and The Keep A Breast Valley

Mindbody is passionate about active lifestyles and Keep A Breast’s mission is close to our heart. Will you join us and help support the Fit 4 Prevention campaign this year? Here are 4 ways you can get involved!

1. Host a class

No matter where you’re located, you can sign up today to host a donation-based class at your studio, gym, or even in your public park during the month of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Upon registering, you’ll receive all the tools to promote your class to your audience as well as Fit 4 Prevention swag, like Keep A Breast bracelets and more. Bottom line: it’s quick to register, easy to host, and a click to donate.

2. Attend a class

If you don’t own a studio or gym, you can find a class being hosted in your area.

3. Ask your gym or studio to get involved

Reach out to your local instructor or trainer and ask if they’ll sign up to host a donation-based class for Keep A Breast! You can think outside the box too. Donation-based classes can be anything from pilates in the park to yoga in the center of your city. Get creative!

4. Make a gift

Keep A Breast’s goal is to raise $1,000,000 for breast cancer awareness and prevention during the Fit 4 Prevention campaign. Even if you can’t attend or host a class, you can still make a difference by making a gift in any amount that is meaningful to you.

Now is the time to prep your studio to make a global impact, support breast cancer prevention, and promote women’s wellness. Visit Fit 4 Prevention's website to learn more.
