Inspired by Rio? Try Rowing with These Businesses

Once simply a means of transportation, the sport of rowing has been included in the Games since 1900. The athletes competing in the 14 separate rowing events in Rio continue a centuries-long tradition of athletic rowing. If you’re inspired to test the waters, here are five studios that can help you get started.

EngineRm Rowing

EngineRm Rowing founder Laura Adams got hooked on this workout because she enjoyed training and racing with a team and the smooth, calming motion of rowing. As a family-owned business with a history of athletes competing in the Games, EngineRM can give you the Rio experience without the travel.
