Two Businesses, Two Stories

We recently asked Angie Lee, owner of FightWorksNYC and Tsahi Shemesh, owner of Israeli Krav Maga NY, to share their experiences as business owners.  Although Tsahi referred Angie to MINDBODY and both businesses specialize in martial arts, the two businesses are extremely unique.

While IKM New York has its own space on 100th street, FightWorksNYC is housed in a conference room in a United Methodist Church. IKM New York specializes in Israeli Krav Maga while FightWorksNYC is a combative fitness studio.

Despite their differences, both businesses had the same need: software that could help them with online scheduling. Tsahi had been using MINDBODY and helped MINDBODY connect with Angie when she decided she wanted software for client registration.

“I wanted a trusted software for client registration,” Angie said. “I was the one that insisted on using MINDBODY.”

Tsahi has referred other businesses to MINDBODY beyond FightWorksNYC.

“I think the software has a lot to offer,” Tsahi said. “It can help others bring more revenue to their business.”

But despite the differences in how their two businesses are structured, Angie and Tsahi’s businesses share another thing in common: that they love having online booking available to their clients through MINDBODY.
