Multitasking is a must for you and your staff. Between greeting walk-ins, checking in regulars, booking appointments over the phone and checking out clients, there’s never a dull moment at the front desk.
Now, you can transition from one task to the next without leaving your appointment schedule. Staying on the same screen creates a smoother workflow for your staff and a quicker experience for your clients.
When you click on an appointment and select Check Out (Beta), a window will pop up in the right corner of your schedule.
Modify or update the appointment to include any add-ons or products, assign a tip or commission and then process the sale. You can accept cash, checks, gift cards, account credit and credit cards.
Get interrupted mid-checkout? No problem! Click to minimize the window until you’re ready to continue the sale.
- Encourage your clients to store their credit cards in their profile on the MINDBODY app for seamless (and swipe-less) checkout. It’s as easy as any other payment method, but customers don’t even need to pull out their phone or wallet. If they have stored cards, you’ll find them when you choose Credit Card under Pay with MINDBODY. They’ll get a text message confirming the charge, too.
- From the checkout window, you can also prebook your client’s next visit.
Select the appropriate payment method and click Complete Sale. Now you’re ready to book, confirm or check in the next appointment.
If you need to use advanced point of sale functions (e.g., split payments or sell contracts), just click on the appointment and select Go to Retail to complete the transaction from the Retail tab.
