1. Recurring Revenue is Your Best Friend
You should always have a membership option that includes a time commitment. This will help optimize the amount of people that keep coming through your door.
2. Don't Give Away Free Classes
To help further entice new clients to come in, use an intro offer that is a REALLY good deal. This will help encourage multiple visits to your business, instead of just one class, giving you more of an opportunity to get new clients excited about what you offer.
3. Follow up with Clients
This may seem simple, but make sure to touch base with your new clients. Making sure clients’ needs are met in the beginning is of the utmost importance. Don’t wait for them to stop coming to class to check in with them.
4. Compare Apples to Apples
When analyzing your business, compare the same month’s year over year KPI, i.e. January 2012 to January 2013. Most businesses are seasonal, so it’s not an accurate reflection of your business’ success to compare each month to the last.
5.The Customer is King
Think of a complaining client as a gift! This is a chance for you to make them happy and improve upon yourself and your business. Do this, and you’ll keep the client for life!
