Auto emails and SMS text alerts
MINDBODY has the capability of sending automated emails and/or SMS texts when you or your clients perform tasks in the software. For example, send your clients an email to confirm when their appointment has been booked, and send a confirmation text to the client and their artist 24 hours before. Or send welcome emails and texts when a client creates an account, send a receipt when they buy online, when they’ve failed to show up for an appointment – the list goes on!
Client rewards
Increase customer loyalty and retention with MINDBODY’s Client Rewards feature. They work kind of like frequent flyer miles: you can reward clients for referring a friend, buying certain items or booking services online by giving them a certain number of “points.” They can use these points like cash at your shop, according to your custom exchange rate.
Clients manage their own accounts online
Pesky admin work? What pesky admin work? Allow your clients to create their own special “client” logins into your MINDBODY software, where they can (get this!) manage their own accounts! Things like updating billing information, changing emails and adding a new cell number can all be handled by your clients. They’ll love that they can do all this themselves, and you’ll free up some hours in the day. It’ll be our little secret.
E-waivers and Contracts
Save a tree and cut down on paperwork. Your empowered clients can log into their own accounts from home and agree to your waivers and contracts online. You’ll always have a record of their agreement stored in their account, plus your paper budget will go way down.
Send email promotions through Constant Contact
Email is the fastest, most cost-efficient way to reach out to your clients and keep them thinking about your business. MINDBODY has partnered with Constant Contact so that you can sync your MINDBODY client list with your Constant Contact email lists. Create professional looking emails quickly and easily. And, once your email is sent, Constant Contact gives you the ability to track important statistics such as who has read your email, who clicked on what links and more.
Client relationship management
A large part of your business is creating a relationship with your clients to ensure they always have a positive experience at your shop. MINDBODY helps you improve your staff’s relationships with your clients with its CRM features, such as the ability to upload photos of a client’s work to their account. Or, look up a client’s schedule, their visit history and their past purchases with the click of your mouse.
Client profiles
Every one of your clients will have their own profile in MINDBODY (and, unlike other software programs, we will never limit how many profiles you can create). A profile can store everything from a client’s nickname to their relationships with other clients. You can scan a client’s driver’s license to fill in their contact info (including their actual age). You can even include medical alerts for your staff.
Payroll, commissions and tips
Your staff may earn their wages is a few different ways, and MINDBODY will help you track them all. Assign flexible payrates to each staff member depending on the service they perform. Hourly employees can clock in and clock out. Our POS will track product sale commissions. Adding a tip to an appointment is simple. Everything is recorded in real time, which makes running your payroll simple, accurate and (most importantly) quick.
Staff permissions
MINDBODY gives you the ability to assign each staff member their own system login. This will inspire a sense of accountability for actions taken within the software. It also allows you to assign each manager and staff member the appropriate level of system access to limit mistakes and protect your information.
