USING THE APP

Searching Specific Regions - Tap on the Settings button and type in the Postal Code you are searching. Update any other settings you are searching and tap on classes. The page will load with classes in that search area.

Adding Favorites - When looking at the classes view please select the location you would like to add. Tap on the studio name. This will take you to the studio screen. Once there, you can select "Add To Favorites." Once selected, this will list that location in your User Defined Favorites Section and list the number and names of the studios that you have selected as favorites. When scrolling through classes your favorite studios will then be listed with a STAR next to their Class listing. To add a specific class as a favorite do the same, however select the class rather that the studio.

Searching Favorites - In the classes screen tap on the STAR this will list only classes or studios that you have marked as favorites. To get back to all simply tap All at the top of the screen.

Studio Search - Tap on the Studios button and type in any studio want to find. This is not limited to any search radius that may be designated in the settings screen. It is searching all studios listed.

LISTING MY FITNESS CLASSES

For Studios Using MINDBODY Software

The process is easy - there are 2 major parts: Update Business & Location Info and Displaying Instructor Information.

PART 1 - Update Business & Location Info in your MINDBODY site

  • Log in to your MINDBODY software
  • Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Setup => Business & Location Info
  • Set the following fields:
    • Business Description Field - Fill in a description of your business, which is what the client using MINDBODY Finder will see when reading about your business with his or her Android smartphone.
    • Location Photo Field - You can upload a photo of your location, which will be displayed when the Android user requests to view your location.
    • Location Description - This will be the description of your location (e.g., "Open from 8am to 6pm. 10,000 sq. ft. fitness center located in a grey building next to Mothers Tavern.")
    • Address Fields for GPS - Fill in the new address fields at the bottom requesting your street address, city, postal code, and state. If you enter this information correctly, the site will display your location's latitude and longitude. If you don't see a longitude and latitude below this field, then your address 1) wasn't entered correctly or 2) could not be geo-located by our mapping software.

PART 2 - Instructor Information

  • Instructor Photos - The MINDBODY Fitness application will display instructor photos beside the classes as well so that your future clients can see who their new instructors will be. The photos are pulled from the Staff Profile screens, resized to 128 pixels wide, and displayed on the Android application.

For Studios that DO NOT use MINDBODY Software

Go to www.MINDBODYFinder.com and complete the free MINDBODY Dot business listing to display your studio on the map.
