Annie Woo
Director of Customer Service
Annie grew up in San Diego, California after transplanting from Wisconsin in 1987. She moved to San Luis Obispo in 1999 to attend Cal Poly where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in General Engineering. After graduating, she moved to Long Beach, California where she worked as a client services representative at a medical billing company and also provided staff and client training for the company's online billing software. Despite moving to Long Beach, she couldn't get San Luis Obispo out of her head and moved back after finding MINDBODY Online. She loves the area, not only for her job, but also for the natural beauty and peaceful "SLO" life. The local trails are great for hiking and biking and the beaches are perfect for a relaxing weekend.
If you're ever looking for Annie outside of MINDBODY, she'll most likely be enjoying the paper, a cheese danish and coffee at Utopia bakery, relaxing to a massage or yoga class, or getting fit at Athlon Elite. Annie loves being part of the MINDBODY team and is excited to be part of such an innovative and growing company that serves such positive and fun industries.
Peter Hewitt
Dean of Staff Training
Peter earned a BA in economics and an MBA in finance from the University of Rochester. His early career saw stints with several large companies including Xerox, Kodak, and Bausch & Lomb. Then he found an opportunity to combine his love of teaching with computers, and joined a start-up company that focused on computer training. Teaching flowed naturally into instructional design, and enabled him to indulge his passion for learning how to make the computer do more work for him.
Peter found MINDBODY in February 2006, while he was running his own computer consulting business, and joined the technical support staff. He now develops and manages the Technical Support Certification programs. He teaches team members the MINDBODY system, and also how to train others on the MINDBODY system. Before Customer Service staff can train clients, they have to demonstrate their technical knowledge and training skills for him. He stays in close contact with all the staff to learn about what MINDBODY’s clients are doing.
Loving life on the central coast, Peter lives on his hobby farm with his wife, family, and their menagerie of animals. He got dragged to a yoga class, and discovered that he really likes it! To round things out, he teaches guitar, rides his bike, and practices yoga. And, of course, enjoys good wine and good friends.

Alyssa Lacey
Reception
Alyssa moved to the San Luis Obispo area to pursue her degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly in 2005 and received her Bachelor’s degree in June 2009. Over the course of four years of study, her most important moments have not been in the classroom, but instead traveling around the world. Alyssa grew up in Camarillo, California with a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes, especially the pet rats she hand-raised as a child. Combined with her love of swimming, she landed a summer-long internship in Bermuda as a dolphin trainer her second year at Cal Poly. After spending two and a half months with the Bottlenose dolphins, she discovered that dolphin training was not what she expected it to be. So, after achieving her degree, Alyssa traveled to Ndola, Zambia (Africa) for a mission’s trip to bring clean water to an impoverished people. From this life-changing experience, she realized that God had created her to serve other people. Then, she was blessed with an opportunity to work at MINDBODY and can utilize her gift to serve clients on a day-to-day basis!
On her spare time she enjoys walks along the beach, dancing, and coordinating the Maxine Lewis Homeless Shelter dinners for her church. She delights in adventures in nature, either watching sunsets or taking a bike ride along Laguna Lake. Alyssa is honored to work with an incredible company and share a smile with her fellow co-workers!
