MINDBODY club software offers many features to simplify the many processes of running a business:
Flexible memberships
MINDBODY allows you to create levels (or tiers) of membership, which allow your clients to choose which membership is right for them. This benefits you in a couple of ways. One, you can upsell clients to higher membership levels. But you can also increase client retention by downgrading memberships for clients who can no longer afford it.
Member rewards
Increase member loyalty and retention with MINDBODY’s Client Rewards feature. They work kind of like frequent flyer miles: you can reward members for referring a friend, buying certain items or booking services online by giving them a certain number of “points.” They can use these points like cash at your business, according to your custom exchange rate.
Auto emails and SMS text alerts
MINDBODY has the capability of sending automated emails and/or SMS texts when you or your clients perform tasks in the software. For example, send your members an email to confirm when their class has been booked. Send confirmation texts 24 hours prior to a personal training session. Or send welcome emails, a receipt for online purchases, for no-shows – the list goes on!
Members manage their own accounts online
Pesky admin work? What pesky admin work? Allow your members to create their own special “member” logins into your MINDBODY software, where they can (get this!) manage their own accounts! Things like updating billing information, changing emails and adding a new cell number can all be handled by your members. They’ll love that they can do all this themselves, and you’ll free up some hours in the day. It’ll be our little secret.
Client relationship management
A large part of your business is creating a relationship with your members to ensure they always have a positive experience (and keep coming back). MINDBODY helps you improve your staff’s relationships with your members with its CRM features, such as a profile that stores everything from a member’s nickname to their relationships with other members. Or, look up a member’s schedule, their visit history and their past purchases on the fly. Even mark issues that require a follow-up, note injuries, or keep track of progress using Contact Logs.
Send email promotions through Constant Contact
Email is the fastest, most cost-efficient way to reach out to your members and keep them thinking about your business. MINDBODY has partnered with Constant Contact email marketing so that you can sync your MINDBODY member email list with your Constant Contact email lists. Create professional looking emails quickly and easily. And, once your email is sent, Constant Contact gives you the ability to track important statistics such as who has read your email, who clicked on what links and more.
Client relationships
Odds are, your club’s members have friends, coworkers and family that are also members. Track relationships among clients, such as family ties, workout buddies, who pays for whom, who referred whom, etc. You can also share memberships among families and create your own custom relationship categories.
Payroll and commission
Your staff may earn their wages is a few different ways, and MINDBODY will help you track them all. Assign flexible payrates to each staff member depending on what they teach. Hourly employees can clock in and clock out. Our POS will track product sale commissions. Adding a tip to an appointment is simple. Everything is recorded in real time, which makes running your payroll simple, accurate and (most importantly) quick.
Staff permissions
MINDBODY gives you the ability to assign each staff member their own system login. This will inspire a sense of accountability for actions taken within the software. It also allows you to assign each manager and staff member the appropriate level of system access to limit mistakes and protect your information.
