Aia Stinnett

Director of Merchant Accounts

Aia moved to San Luis Obispo area in 2002 from Sacramento. From 1997 - 2006 Aia was in the ACTIVE Army National Guard. She was officially discharged May 18, 2006 as a Staff Sergeant. During her tenure she was assigned to several different units including: Military Intelligence, Engineering, and Recruiting. Aia joined the MINDBODY team in June 2006. She is excited to work such a young, engaging company like MINDBODY, Inc. In her free time she enjoys creating Digital Art, Mountain Biking, Pilates, Chess, Paintball, Charcoal Drawing and Reading. Aia also enjoys traveling, some of her favorite places to visit include: Japan, Kauai, Venice, and Florence. Next on her list to go see is: Costa Rica, Iceland, Greece, Bali, and New Zealand.

Jayleen Elliott

Merchant Account Sales Coordinator

Jayleen is a native of California, having been born in the San Joaquin Valley and moving to the San Francisco Bay Area at the age of 12, where she spent most of her teen years with friends up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She moved to the Central Coast in 2000, wishing to be closer to her family and to belong to a solid community, constructed of people who care deeply for each other and the environment. She has worked in Administration for over 17 years, and continues to strive toward a good education by attending classes at Cuesta College, earning a degree in Child Education. In her spare time, Jayleen enjoys volunteering, traveling, camping, hiking, water-skiing, motorcycle riding, boogey-boarding, listening to and performing music and so much more.

Having worked in fitness-oriented companies for much of her career, she finds it very exciting to be joining the MINDBODY team, as her teammates’ level of integrity, willingness to work hard, and caring for others matches her own. She is grateful to find employment with a company that is truly passionate about its clients, employees, and product!

Kelly Smith

Senior Merchant Accounts Sales Specialist

Originally from Florida, Kelly moved out west after graduating from Dreyfoos School of the Arts as a dance major. Starting with MINDBODY as a part-time receptionist, it became a perfect balance between her passion for business and the wellness industry. She has since continued her growth into a full-time position with the merchant accounts team and is indulging herself deeper into the intricate wellness industry.

Kelly is currently completing her BA in Psychology with a focus in Early Childhood Development and in her spare time she loves taking pilates classes, going on walks, and visiting her family and friends.

Matt Carrasco

Merchant Account Sales Specialist

Matt was born and raised in Oakland, California. In 2005, he moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly State University where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management. Matt joined MINDBODY part-time in 2008 as a Sales Associate while attending Cal Poly. In June of 2009, he moved to full-time as a member of Merchant Accounts Department. Matt is crazy about sports, both as a fan and participant. His favorite teams are the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland A's. He also enjoys golfing, hiking, relaxing on beautiful beaches of the Central Coast, and spending time with his family.

Jennifer Anderson

International Merchant Accounts Specialist

Jennifer has lived most of her life in San Luis Obispo, California with the exceptions of Texas and Alaska. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, but kept exploring her possibilities. To be closer to her family she moved to Olympia, Washington and began working successfully for AutoTrader.com where she provided customer support, training, marketing and advertising for her clients. The beauty of the Central Coast and her fiancé brought her back to San Luis Obispo. In her spare time Jennifer enjoys being at the lake or beach, “learning” to ride dirt bikes, hiking, working out, working in the yard and reading.

Jennifer is delighted to join the MINDBODY team. She is happy to be with a young, growing company in the health and wellness field. She is anxious to help clients make their business successful.

Jessica Feltman

Merchant Account Sales Specialist

Jessica was fortunate enough to be raised in the stunning town of San Luis Obispo, California. At the age of four, she started dancing in such styles as ballet, jazz and tap. She danced professionally with the Civic Ballet of SLO as well as working with her dance agent to dance in commercials, movies, tours and whatever else she could perform in. In 2004 she attended the University of California at Santa Barbara as a dance major. Upon graduation in 2007, Jessica danced on the television series, "Step it Up and Dance," on Bravo TV.

In 2008 Jessica began her education in Pilates and in 2009 she was certified by the Physical Mind Institute while teaching dance at Temecula Dance Company. After handwriting all records at the Pilates studio where she taught, Jessica found MINDBODY and decided to make the leap back to her beloved hometown and work for this incredible company!

Jessica loves running, dancing, hiking, surfing, Pilates, yoga, biking, wakeboarding, anything that keeps the body moving, and is THRILLED to be living back in the beautiful SLO town!

Cory Richison

Merchant Support Specialist

Cory Richison grew up in Atascadero, California and has lived there a majority of his life. He attended Patten University in Oakland, California, where he majored in Business Management and minored in Biblical Studies. While attending college he played second and third base on the baseball team. He is an easy going person who enjoys snowboarding, surfing, and pretty much anything else involving the outdoors. He is an active member of Calvary SLO and plans to be a full-time missionary in the future.

Shelley Effinger

Merchant Support Specialist

Shelley grew up in Southern Mississippi in the small town of Ocean Springs, which is located along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a business degree in Management Information Systems, she moved to Denver, Colorado. She worked as a program director for a fitness and development center for children, and also worked for the largest flooring company in Colorado. She’s had the opportunity to travel a lot recently, and spent most of her time in Vietnam and Thailand. Her love of being around the water found her a new home in beautiful and (sometimes) warm San Luis Obispo where she moved after returning from her travels.

Shelley's best friend is her Rhodesian Ridgeback named Grace. They like to go the beach to watch the sunset, play Frisbee, take hikes, take car rides with the windows rolled down, and play with other dogs in nearby parks.

Shelley's passions include yoga, meditation, traveling, hula hooping, working with children, and music -- seeing it live, playing, or listening. She also has a soft spot in her heart for the spirit and heritage of New Orleans, southern Cajun food, and her home town's artistic history. She loves to do anything outdoors but favors scuba diving, kayaking, backpacking, camping, running road races, skiing, and hiking. You can find her on the weekends serving wine in a great local winery in Avila Beach, CA. Shelley loves being a part of the MINDBODY team and is excited to be in an industry that promotes wellness to the world.
