Nathan Dennis, Regional Account Manager - UK

Nathan graduated in 1992 with a degree in Sports Science and then progressed through certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine before discovering Pilates in 1998.

He has used Pilates based exercise as part of his practise in physiotherapy settings and as a manager of his own studio. He went on to set up and oversee six studios for a major health club chain before joining us as the European sales representative.

Nathan divides his time between his Exercise rehabilitation practise, operational consultancy and MINDBODY. His vast operational experience in the Health and Fitness industry and the Pilates Industry gives him a unique approach to help his clients implement our systems into their business.

A father of three (all under 5) keeps Nathan busy outside of work and when he has some time, you can find him out on his mountain bike, running, power kiting or driving through France to go skiing at any opportunity.

Sarah Counts, UK Sales Associate Manager/ Senior Sales Specialist

Sarah was born and slightly raised in LA. As a young teen, her family relocated to the small Central Coast town of Templeton. Beyond Templeton, she went to school at Cal State, Chico where she received a BA in Psychology and a BS in Health Science Education. After graduation, Sarah ventured to Prague, Czech Republic to teach English and do some soul searching. She fell in love with Europe and the city life and stayed there for a little over two years. After Europe she moved home to Templeton to work for the American Cancer Society, where she managed an office, giving support to the local community. For fun Sarah worked at Castoro Cellars on weekends pouring wine, and this is where she met everybody's favorite CEO, Rick Stollmeyer. When he asked for another pour of wine, Sarah replied, “If you give me a smile, it may be possible! After a brief conversation Sarah got a business card and was told to come for an interview at MINDBODY. And that is the beginning of this happy MINDBODY story.

Sarah started her career at MINDBODY as part of the Customer Service team, first in Admin and then moving to Tech Support. After about six months, she entered her new position as Sales Specialist. In September of 2011 Sarah was selected to relocate to the UK to open and operate our London sales office. She is currently living in London running the office in Angel and loving the United Kingdom!

Sarah's interests include teaching Spin classes, cooking Indian & Mexican food, drinking wine, traveling to every continent before she dies, and reading just about anything.

Sarah Todd , Independent Sales Consultant (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Rim)

Sarah joined the MindBody International Sales Team in February 2012 working from her hometown Melbourne, Australia. Prior to this Sarah was the Managing Director for the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute in the UK where she was based for four years. Sarah holds a Bachelor`s degree in Applied Science majoring in Health Promotion from Deakin University. She has completed numerous business courses in both Entrepreneurship & Marketing. Sarah is a fully qualified Fitness Instructor both in the UK (REPS) and Australia (Fitness Australia) and teaches Pilates on a regular basis. Sarah’s passion is business and all things health and fitness; you will either find her out running or with her head in a business book.

Katrina Wise , Sales Coordinator

Katrina is excited to grow with MINDBODY and gain more knowledge sustainable business practices, especially in the health and wellness industry.

When she attended San Francisco State University, Katrina studied Dance for first three years, where she discovered a new interest in Pilates. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, but continues to study Pilates and Dance. She is excited to be apart of the MINDBODY team and help others get work done efficiently!

Katrina has been involved in Dance and Cheerleading since she was six years old. She loves hiking, biking, and camping. She grew up in San Luis Obispo area, but she lived in San Francisco for the past four years. Katrina loves MINDBODY's continuous innovation for business management.

Elizabeth Kapplow, Senior Sales Specialist

Liz is a water loving Miami native, who freelances as a tough New Yorker.

She is a Graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, and plays the part of Actress/Sales Rep. Her hobbies of fitness, well being, and helping others achieve their goals, and have led her to the wonderful world of MINDBODY. Liz loves to travel, do crossword puzzles, and make mobiles.

Jonathan Bolger, Senior Sales Representative

Jonathan started here at MINDBODY in 2008 in our Tech Support department. After becoming a head trainer and a guru in tech he decided to utilize his skill set in our sales department. Jonathan has quickly become one of our best sales people. He has taken his knowledge of the software and has been able to assist potential clients to see the many different advantages of our software and services.

Jonathan has built his skill set by having specific past postions that have helped him become the advanced sales rep he is today. Jonathan owned his own business doing virtual tours for the California real estate market. From there Jonathan started selling real estate. These two positions among others have helped him in our tech support team and our sales team here at MINDBODY.

Jonathan is a father of two young boys so spare time is hard to come by. But when he has time, he likes to spend his time outside playing with his sons. Being an active sports fan, Jonathan love to check out sporting events and root for the underdogs.

Kyle Warren, Senior Sales Specialist

Kyle Warren is a graduate of California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo with a BS in Business Administration. He concentrated his degree in the areas of management and marketing. Kyle became a member of MINDBODY in early 2007 as a sales associate and currently holds the position of Sales Specialist. He is excited to continue working with such a dedicated and innovative group of individuals. Most recently, Kyle has been spending his time outside of work playing with his 1-year-old dog, Ellie. He also enjoys playing sports (more specifically basketball), watching movies, going on hikes, and relaxing with friends.

Andrew Sealy, Sales Specialist

Andrew Sealy is an ambitious young man hailing from Granada Hills California. He brings a positive attitude to life and excels in leadership positions. Currently a Biology student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Software Sales Representative at MindBody, Andrew finds sanctuary in Bikram Yoga every evening.

His hobbies include playing soccer, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. He is well cultured being that he is from Barbados, a small island off the coast of Venezuela. His intentions are to become more traveled as the years pass and gain more financial freedom. Embodying a competitive, determined attitude, acquired from personal development, experience, and the USC Summer Business Institute; Andrew plans to one day incorporate his knowledge of the body and his business skills to own a wellness center that combines the healing powers of yoga, massage, and fitness practices to have the ultimate health sanctuary. Currently exploring the healing powers of alternative health medicines and practices, he continues on his quest to positively affect his surroundings and reach his goal of financial freedom.

Bernice Pierson, Sales Specialist

Bernice Pierson doesn't have to sell MINDBODY software. She claims that as soon as people let her explain a few features, it sells itself. She is like a match-maker. She introduces, presents and then waits for the "happily ever-after."

Bernice has an abundance of education, "beaucoup" sales experience and "mucho" life experience. All of those qualities combined is what makes her the brightest Texan, toe-ring wearing, Cabernet drinking, Sales Specialist at MINDBODY.

Bernice is a former masochist, participating in 12 day adventure races and 24 hour solo mountain bike races around the world. Basically that means she is still trying to catch up on sleep from 2002. You may feel like you have seen her before but are not quite sure where. If you've ever watched The Discovery or Planet Green channels, then you may have seen her battling wolves, salmon and negative thirty degree temperatures on The Alaska Experiment television show. She loves working at MINDBODY because they truly care about the health and well-being of their employees and they provide a product that she completely believes in.

Christian Freitas, Sales Specialist

Christian was born and raised in the beautiful Modesto, California. He started his college career at UC Santa Cruz, but transferred to Cal Poly University, SLO where he is finishing up his B.S. in Business Marketing. Christian has played soccer all of his life and in his free time he enjoys hanging out with his friends, listening to music, and working on his golf game. Occasionally, he enjoys cooking an immaculate Spanish rice dish, paella. He is very excited to be a part of the MINDBODY family and is looking forward to his future here.

Colleen Summa, Sales Specialist

Colleen, originally from San Francisco, has been in New York for 8+ years (though her heart is tugged to both coasts). In addition to sales time with MINDBODY, she is also an actress, and loves to be a writer on the days she writes.

She received her BA in Psychology from UC Davis, and trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She is happy to be a part of the MINDBODY team, where she is able to be among like-minded souls, and try to make life smoother for folks in the health & wellness industry, a passion of hers. Colleen is also an occasional artist, enjoys yoga & running, and with her husband is co-owner of a lively bar on New York's upper west side.

Emily Needham, Sales Specialist

Born and raised on Shelter Island, NY, at the very end of Long Island, Emily is a member of our East Hampton Sales Team and takes a ferry to work every day. Since she joined the MINDBODY team in October 2010, Emily has consulted passionate people looking to improve their businesses and has shared with them an excitement about MINDBODY software.

In addition to studying dance and theater, Emily holds a BA in English and graduated Manhattanville College as a certified New York State Elementary teacher. She feels blessed to have worked in public schools and also to have found her way back to the beautiful beaches of the Long Island where she enjoys not only the naturally landscape, but also her family, all of whom are teachers. Along with her sister and mother, Emily founded Art in the Garden, a summer art camp that now proudly uses MINDBODY Online!

Emily spends her free time running, going to the beach, making jewelry, traveling to warm places, and eating great food! She loves MINDBODY and feels blessed to work with competent and caring colleagues, and for a company she knows goes above and beyond to improve global health and wellness.

James Leath, Sales Specialist

James has over 10 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, group x instructor, and collegiate strength coach. He graduated from Fresno State where he spent 3 years as their beloved bulldog mascot, Time Out. Shortly after graduating with a BA in Communication and a minor in Kinesiology, James went on to get his masters in Special Education. He spent 2 years as a high school teacher until he chose to go back in to the world of fitness.

As James' clientele grew, he sought out Mindbody to manage his business. After relocating to the Central Coast, James toured the Mindbody Building in San Luis Obispo, Ca. and fell in love with the company. A few weeks later he left full time personal training to join the Mindbody family as a software sales specialist.

Now James rides his bike to work (a excruciating 1.2 miles one way) and is often found running one of the many trails throughout the Central Coast. His goal is to complete an Ironman Triathlon before his 35th birthday.

Jennifer Risk, Sales Specialist

Jennifer has been a Sales Specialist at MINDBODY since August of 2011. Her favorite part of her job is hearing the excitement on the other end of the line when a business owner realizes that MINDBODY just solved all their problems.

Jennifer graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. About a year after graduating, she became an ABA Therapist for children affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder and then taught Pre-Kindergarten in North Philly for two years. In addition to her passion for teaching, Jennifer has always had an strong entrepreneurial drive. She refused to get a job directly out of college, and for almost a year, supported herself solely based on eBay sales (and hunting for change in the couch). Her other passions, interior design and being cheap, led her to create her DIY design blog, which she writes about on belladwella.blogspot.com.

Jennifer was born and raised in Manhattan, and now resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband, cat Izzy, and dog Moose, who her co-workers consider part of the MINDBODY team, as he enjoys "barking in" on conference calls and demos.

Michaela Bernard, Sales Specialist

Michaela ( Kayla works just fine too) is a Software Solutions Specialist for MINDBODY. It is her pleasure to introduce potential clients to the wonders of MINDBODY and help them in their pursuit of awesome client management and online scheduling software. She began her career with MINDBODY back in November of 2009 as a Sales Associate, cold calling her heart away and bringing interest to people who were unfamiliar with MINDBODY. Upon graduating Cal Poly with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism in June of 2010, she decided she was too in love with SLO and MINDBODY to leave, and was promoted to a full-time sales position.

Michaela has worked in a variety of Public Relations and Marketing Fields including assisting in the organization of American Heart Association Fundraisers. She worked with the non-profit organization Friends of Hearst Castle who are dedicated to the preservation and conservation of beautiful Hearst Castle's artifacts and architecture and has also helped locally marketing for smaller, San Luis start-up companies. She can also fly, breath underwater, and transform into a variety of cars, trucks, and semis.

For fun, Michaela loves to be around good family and friends. On the weekends you can find her hiking, at the beach, gardening or basically anywhere outdoors. She also has a cat named "The Situation" but everyone calls him Mike. She loves MINDBODY because everyone has amazing attitudes and it's easy to support such a great team and product.

Shamir Cohen, Sales Specialist

Shamir resides in the beautiful water-front town of Sag Harbor on the eastern end of Long Island. She settled in Sag Harbor after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Albany, where she obtained a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Psychology.

After college she pursued a sales career in the field of Interior Design, where she gained valuable experience servicing high end clients. In addition to her work as a sales professional, Shamir also worked for Goldman Sachs in their IT department and started a part-time cleaning business, specializing in the use of organic cleaning products. MINDBODY has been a perfect fit, blending her passion for sales and her desire to help people improve their health and wellness!

When Shamir is not working in the office she enjoys listening and singing to various musicians, jogging with her dog Maggie on the beach, practicing yoga, taking photographs of the beautiful sunsets, Feng Shuing, and traveling the world! Shamir loves being a part of the MINDBODY team!

Clay Mead, Senior Sales Associate

Clay Mead is a Senior Sales Associate who was hired in June of 2011. He has high hopes for his position as an associate and plans to excel past monthly sales goals and maintain his place here at MINDBODY and do his best to contribute to both the sales team and the MINDBODY team.

Clay is a Communications major at California Polytechnic State University. Clay plans to advance his communication ability in the associate room through contact with perspective clients. This is Clay's first position in sales but enjoys conversing with people and presenting argument.

Clay enjoys exercising especially hiking and kickboxing. He is a San Luis Obispo local and loves exploring the beautiful scenery this county has to offer. At MINDBODY, Clay most enjoys the team atmosphere and the relationships he has established with his co-workers.
