This section provides information on the basic and most common sales report that you can use to determine you earned revenue.
MindBody provides accrual and cash basis reports. If you don't understand these accounting methods, or how to calculate your earned revenue using MINDBODY, click here to learn more.
The report is divided into sales by payment method with totals for each section and a grand total at the bottom.
The cash drawer report is a perfect tool to help balance your cash drawer at the end of a day, or shift. Only cash equivalent sales are listed on the cash drawer report. This includes: cash, check, and credit card sales. Staff can balance the drawer according to cash, checks, and credit card sales receipts. If you have multiple drawers, you can manage those as well. Click here to learn more about multiple cash drawers.
The Gift Cards report shows all assigned and unassigned gift cards.
In MINDBODY, a gift card is unassigned if it is not associated with a recipient. These are all gift cards that are sold as undesignated and have not been assigned through the retail screen.
A gift card is considered assigned if it is associated with a recipient regardless of whether the credit has been used to purchase services, or products.
This isn't a sales report, but you can use the account balances report to generate a list of positive and negative balances in order to determine your earned revenue.
