The Contact Log Feature is a part of the Sales Team Management module, which also allows you to track close dates, assign sales reps and use the Sales Forecasting Report. Contact Logs can be added by staff to track things such as complaints, preferences, or anything that you would like to remember about each client. Contact logs also feature commenting, just like posts on an online forum or bulletin board, to allow for communication among staff.
The Contact Log Type Feature allows you to manage logs with ease when you assign one or more types to each log you enter into your clients' accounts. A log type can be assigned by ticking its little checkbox at the top of each Contact Log. This feature is designed for use with reporting on the Contact Log Report, as well as filtering logs on the Contact Log Screen. To ensure that your staff remember to assign a Contact Log Type every time that they add a new log, you can require that they select at least one type before saving each log.
