Schedule Appointments

Now that you understand the layout of the screen, you are ready to schedule appointments, but only if you have accomplished the following:

 

Make a Single Appointment

  1. Select the Appointments Tab. Open slots are indicated by a shaded box. Refer to the color key at the top of the appointment book. Use filters to quickly find the type of appointment you want to schedule.
  2. Click on the shaded box indicating the time and staff member for the appointment you wish to schedule.
  3. Lookup the client.
  4. Select the Session Type.
  5. Ensure that the start and end times are correct.
  6. Add notes (optional).
  7. Click Make Single Appointment.

Check Out Appointments (Pay for and Mark Appointments Complete)

  1. Click the name of the client who is booked to open the appointment details.
  2. Click the Check Out Button.
  3. If the client has a current series to pay for the service, clicking Check Out will mark the appointment as complete and change the status color from booked to completed. The status color legend will appear across the top of the screen.
  4. If the client does not have a current series to pay for the service, clicking Check Out, on the bottom right,will take you to the retail screen to make a purchase. Complete the purchase for the service.

Click here to learn more about the "Override Appointment Type Rules" permission under the Appointments Section. This enables staff to allow clients to check out an appointment using any series on their account (as long as that series belongs to the appointment's program).
