Add a Workshop

As you can see a lot was done to get up to the point of adding a class. Before adding a workshop or special event, please use the following checklist to ensure you have accomplished all scheduling prerequisites.

Enrollment Department Setup
Class Type Setup
Class Level Setup (optional)
Class/Event Description
Teachers and Class Pay Rates
Series (fee for attending the workshop, or event)

The easiest way to add a workshop is through the class/event description page.

Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Services => Class & Event Management
Locate the workshop you wish to schedule.
Click the Schedule It link.
If you have multiple locations, choose the location to the right of the class name.
Select a teacher.
The pay rate will default to the default pay rate you set up earlier or you can pick a different pay rate.
Add the capacity for the workshop.
If you allow online signup, enter the number of the people that can sign up online.
Choose the start time. If you know the day that your class or workshop will start but you're not sure of its start or end time, then you can choose TBD (to be determined) from the Start Time and End Time dropdown boxes. The class or event will then appear at the top of the schedule for that day.
Choose the end time.
Choose the start date.
Choose the end date.
Choose the meeting days.
Choose the series that must be purchased to enroll in the workshop from the select Product drop down list. Click here to learn more about setting up a workshop series.
Click Assign. Repeat steps 15 and 16 if more than one item can be assigned to the workshop.
Click Create Class/Event Schedule.

The first screen you see after scheduling the class is the class and event schedule filter, which is also accessible through Toolbox => Services => Class & Event Management, click on Manage Schedules.

Click the Generate button to view your class. The workshop is also on the workshops schedule page. Click over to the workshops tab across from your site logo to view your scheduled workshop or event.
