Appt. Rates & Booking Times

1. Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Setup => Staff => Staff Management
2. Choose an instructor from the dropdown list
3. Click on the Appointment Rates and Booking Time Link at the top of his or her screen

Service Category / Your Appointment - Use the dropdown box to choose what services this client can provide. This will allow the instructor to offer this service on the schedule. If you don't do this, clients can't book the service with this instructor.

Flat Pay or Percentage Pay - If you want the system to track how much you pay your instructors, enter a flat pay or percentage pay. This will tell the system how much the instructor earns every time they perform the service. For percentage pay, it will state that you owe the instructor a percentage of how much service costs on the Teacher & Staff Payroll Report.

Booking Time (min) - This tells the system how long it usually takes the client to perform this service.

You can find it in the Payroll Report.

How to find it: 

1. Log in as the owner
2. Follow this menu path: Reports => Staff => Payroll

The Copy Button lets you quickly copy pay rates on the Appt. Rates & Booking Times Screen and the Class/Hourly/Commission Pay Rates Screen. Meaning, if you have five new yoga instructors in your yoga studio, you can just enter the pay rate information for one, and then use the new Copy Button to set up the remaining four.

 

To use the Copy Button:

1. Look up a staff member here: Toolbox => Setup => Staff => Staff Management
2. Click on the staff member's "Class / Hourly / Commission Pay Rates" Link
3. Set up the staff member's pay rates
4. Next to the text "Copy these rates to," choose a staff member that will share the pay rates of the staff member above
5. Click the Copy Button

That's fine, but you still need to tell the system how long it takes the instructor to complete a service. If not, the system won't know what exact services this person provides. To assign session types without rates, simply leave the flat rate and percentage rate fields blank.
