Clients may not want to tell your staff member verbally what they're going to tip. So, we have the option of printing a "tip slip" from inside the Appointment Details screen. Once you print it, your receipt printer will print a receipt just for the purpose of allowing your client to write the tip amount. The client can then hand the tip back to the service provider.
Here's how:
- Make sure tips are enabled (see steps above)
- Make sure the Appointment Arrivals feature is enabled. You can do so by following this menu path: Toolbox => Setup => Options => Appointment Options. Then, enabled the "Track Appointment Arrivals" feature.
- Click on the Update button
- Click on the Appointments tab
- Click on an Appointment that has been scheduled
- Click on the Arrived? checkbox in the upper right corner
- Notice the new Print Tip Slip button, click on it
