Commission Report

Once you setup your commissions, this report displays what commissions you need to pay your staff. This report only shows commissions for products and series sold through the Retail Screen. In addition to the commission amounts themselves, the report also features a 'Grand Total' Row at the bottom of each section with a total displayed for the Sales Price Column and the total number of sales. If you pay your teachers a percentage for the revenue generated by a class or workshop, the percentage will not show up here. That kind of commissions appears on the Teacher Payroll report.

  How to find this report: 

1. Log in as the owner (or as someone with permission to view reports)
2. Follow this menu path: Reports => Staff => Commission

Explanation of Filters at Top

• View - View the commissions for staff members setup to earn commissions for the sale of series and products
• Products & Services - Adjust this drop down box to see the commission owed for the sale or products, series, or both.
• Location - Choose a single location or all locations to run the report for.
• Start Date - This is the start date for the Commission Report.
• End Date - This is the end date for the Commission Report.

Track split commissions

The Commission Features can help you manage split staff commissions with hot words that you can change to differentiate between one commission and another. For example, if a commission is split between a sales rep and a service provider, you can now name one commission "Sales Rep" and the other "Service Provider."

 

To make changes to hot words, follow with menu path:

• Toolbox => Setup => Options => Language Settings
