A Professional Products is a product which can be sold just to staff members through the Retail Screen. This feature helps you track products (e.g., work clothes, hair product, etc...) that your staff members buy directly from your business. The items will then appear on the Payroll Report as a backbar deduction (or whatever you call it using hot words) and removes the amount from their payroll. The sale will appear on sales reports too, for accounting purposes.
This feature's purpose is to deduct the purchase from the staff member's payroll, so make sure to use a unique payment method (e.g., Payroll Deduction) when using this feature. Otherwise, the staff member will pay for it using cash, credit card, ACH, or check - and their payroll will still show the backbar deduction.
Note: Professional Products cannot be sold online.
