MINDBODY Finder

The first manifestation of MINDBODY Finder is an iPhone application (app) called YogaNOWYogaNOW can be purchased for a few dollars in iTunes. designed specifically for yoga students. Using the iPhone's GPS functionality, YogaNOW will take the address stored in your MINDBODY Business & Location Info Screen, look at the different class types that you offer, and display your yoga classes if you're nearby the iPhone user. YogaNOW comes with other hot features, like a Favorites System that stores classes, studios, and teachers that the client prefers. It also allows the user to compare studio pictures and descriptions, teacher biographies, and series prices - all from his or her iPhone. All yoga studios will be plotted on a Google Map.

• Matching your class types to YogaNOW categories: 
  1. Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Services => Class Type Setup
  2. If you left the "MINDBODY Finder Opt-In" box checked, then you'll notice a new "MINDBODY Finder Category" column on the far right of your Class Type Setup Screen. The categories available are set in stone, but we tried to find the best match for your existing yoga class types. For any of your yoga services that don't have a MINDBODY Finder Category selected, try to match the categories available as well as you can.
• Instructor Photos:The YogaNOW application will display instructor photos beside the classes as well so that your future clients can see who their new instructors will be. The photos are pulled from the Staff Profile screens, resized to 128 pixels wide, and displayed on the iPhone application.

1. Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Setup => Business & Location Info
2. Set the following fields:
   • Business Description Field - Fill in a description of your business, which is what the client using MINDBODY Finder will see when reading about your business with his or her iPhone.
   • Location Photo Field - You can upload a photo of your location, which will be displayed when the iPhone user requests to view your location.
   • Location Description - This will be the description of your location (e.g., "Open from 8am to 6pm. Single room yoga studio with mats, blocks, and straps. Located in red brick building between Mother's Tavern and Rack Boutique.")
   • Address Fields for GPS - Fill in the new address fields at the bottom requesting your street address, city, postal code, and state. If you enter this information correctly, the site will display your location's latitude and longitude. If you don't see a longitude and latitude below this field, then your address 1) wasn't entered correctly or 2) could not be geo-located by our mapping software.

To disable MINDBODY Finder from accessing your services (Skip this step if you want to use this feature):

1. Follow this menu path: Toolbox => Setup => Options => General Setup & Options
2. Disable the "MINDBODY Finder Opt-In" Checkbox
3. Click the Update Button
