Courses

If you offer workshops, we have a supplementary feature called Courses. It allows you to group workshops that meet at different times and on different days of the week into "one" workshop.

Once you enable the feature, you basically create workshops like you always have. But now you can use the Courses feature to cluster the workshops together and present them as "one" workshop under the Workshops tab. All workshops not assigned to a course are displayed on the Workshops tab as usual.

What else you should know about courses:

Clients enroll into courses just like workshops, by clicking on the Workshops tab
If you use the Course Management screen (Toolbox => Services => Course Management) to remove workshops from a course, then the workshop will exist as a standalone workshop on the Workshops tab
If you add a workshop to a course, that workshop will no longer be available as a standalone workshop on the Workshops Tab
Workshops assigned to courses will not display any differently on reports than workshops not assigned to courses.
Future releases will support course reporting.
The following settings on the Course Management screen will override any settings applied to the individual workshops.
- Show to Public
- Allow Date Forward Enrollment
- Allow Open Enrollment
- Series that are assigned to the course (i.e., the series that you assign to a course is what the client buys to enroll into all workshops inside the course)
- Enable payment plan
