What is Constant Contact? It's not a MINDBODY product, but a third party email marketing software that many of our clients use for sending email campaigns with high-end graphics. Visit the Constant Contact website by clicking here. |
This feature allows your MINDBODY system to keep your Constant Contact information updated with behind-the-scenes (API) syncing. Changes made (e.g., opting out, changing email addresses, deactivating clients) inside MINDBODY will instantly be made to Constant Contact, but not the other way around. Because updates only move from MINDBODY into Constant Contact, we recommend that once you have the Constant Contact Integration setup, you only use MINDBODY to add or update client email addresses.
If you don't have a Constant Contact account, this feature won't work for you.
Mapping
Mapping means that you associate some type of categorization in MINDBODY to some type of categorization inside of Constant Contact. When contact information is changed inside MINDBODY, it will be instantly updated in Constant Contact when the mapping relationship exists. There are two categories MINDBODY maps to Constant Contact:
Mapping Examples
If you just want all of your clients in MINDBODY to be updated to all of your contacts inside of Constant Contact, then you can map to All Locations to a generic Constant Contact mailing list.
Note: you can map just to locations, just to client indexes, or both.
