The Class Tests feature has a way to record trial information. In a few months, reports will be able to generate best trial scores for each class test. With this release, you can track multiple trials for one test. For example, if you are tracking running trials and your clients run the 40-yard-dash five times in an attempt to set their best time, you can now enter the five different trial times. In the near future, another feature will compliment this one and display the best time for each client.
Trials can now be recorded on the Class Sign-In screen and each client's Profile screen. It's up to you to determine if a low score is best (e.g., golf class) or high score (e.g., calories burned on a treadmill) is best.
To set up multiple trials for a class test answer:
- Follow this menu path: Clients => Class Test Questions
- For each test question, set the number of trials, i.e., how many different test scores will be recorded for this test question.
- If you want the system to only display the highest or lowest results from multiple trials, then use the dropdown box titled Calculated Result to choose (the outcomes will be calculated in a future MINDBODY feature, but it's good to start gathering the client data now)
- None - The system will display all trial results on the Profile screen and Class Sign-In screen
- Largest Value - The system will display the client's greatest trial score for that test question (ideal for events where a higher score is better such as spinning classes, weight lifting, Scrabble.)
-
Smallest Value - The system will display the client's lowest trial score for that test question (ideal for events where a lowest score is better such as timed races, golf, Hearts).
- Click the Update button
Now, when you enter the client's scores on the Classes screen, you'll be able to enter a value for each trial. You determined how many trails would occur on the Class Questions screen.
