Enrolling Clients Into Workshops
Below is a list of things that could be preventing your clients from enrolling into a Workshop.
Check the Series
- Make sure that a series is assigned to the workshop.
You assign a series to a workshop by clicking on the Edit link on this screen Toolbox => Services => Class & Event Management.
- Visits on the Series
- Per Session Pricing - Enabled - If you have ticked the Per Session Pricing feature on the series assigned to the workshop, then the system will automatically adjust the visits on the series to the number of sessions that the client is trying to enroll himself/herself into. In short, you don't need to worry about how many visits the workshop series has. The system does it for you.
- Per Session Pricing - Disabled - If you have not ticked the Per Session Pricing feature on the series assigned to the workshop,then you need to make sure that the number of visits on the series matches the exact number of times that the workshop meets.
- The series assigned to the Workshop must have a long enough duration so that clients can buy it ahead of time and still not have the series expire before the workshop ends. If clients pre-pay for their series, and the series expiration date starts when its purchased (Uncheck: Update Activation Date to First Visit Date), this might make the series expire before the workshop actually starts. This would be bad.
- Make sure that the series is checked "Sell Online" if clients are signing up on the web
Check scheduling restrictions
- Under Class and Event options, make sure that there are no scheduling restrictions keeping clients from signing up ahead of time or closing the workshop for online enrollment too early.
- The Class and Event Options Screen is here: Toolbox => Setup => Options => Class & Event Options
- On the Class & Event Options screen, make sure that at the top of the screen,online scheduling is Enabled for workshops

- Make sure that the workshop is scheduled for the future. Clients may not enroll online once the start date has passed
- Make sure that the Workshop's capacity and online signups were configured correctly when the Workshop was scheduled. Also, make sure that the Workshop hasn't already filled up.

- Click the Edit link next to the Workshop in question
